Cauliflower Pizza

  • 5 cups of grated or ground cauliflower
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place the cauliflower in a microwave safe bowl, and cover with plastic wrap. Poke a few holes in the plastic wrap for ventilation.
  3. Microwave the cauliflower for 4 minutes, stir, and allow it to cool.
  4. Place the cauliflower in a fine mesh strainer and use a spatula to press the cauliflower against the strainer to push any liquid out.
  5. Use paper towels to remove extra liquid or you can ring it out in a tea towel.
  6. Place the drained cauliflower in a bowl and fluff it with a fork.
  7. Add the basil, oregano, garlic, parmesan, and mozzarella. Add salt to taste.
  8. Add the egg, and mix well.
  9. Press the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Press until it is 1/4 inch thick, or slightly thicker.
  11. It takes around 15-20 minutes to bake.
  12. Remove from the oven once it is brown. Top with desired toppings.
  13. Return to the oven until the cheese is melted.
  14. Let it cool for a few minutes, then serve.
